Participate in local government and give back to the community by serving on one of the City of Coppell’s boards or commissions. The City is currently seeking passionate individuals to be a part of nine boards and commissions that help guide development, future needs, regulations, and more for Coppell. With so many boards and commissions to choose from, it’s easy to find a way to serve in a capacity that is important to you. Are you an avid park user? Consider applying for the Parks and Recreation Board. Concerned about future housing trends? Apply for FOARD! Do you have ideas for ways the City can implement technology to use resources more efficiently? Perhaps a seat on the Smart City Board would interest you.

City boards, commissions, committees, and temporary task forces or ad hoc groups serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council. These groups act as the voice of the residents of the City of Coppell. All board meetings are posted online and open to the public for citizens to attend.
