For more than 20 years, the City of Coppell has sponsored the “Make A Child Smile” holiday program, encouraging community members to donate gifts to deserving children in Coppell ISD. The community is encouraged to participate once again to provide for local families.
In addition to gifts for local children, the City is also collecting donations for local seniors in the form of $50 Wal-Mart gift cards. These gift cards will be given to Metrocrest Services to be added to gift baskets.
Donating to a child in need is easy!
1.
Browse the nominations below. Select the nomination to complete the appropriate form to grant the child's wish. You can also come to the City Manager's Office at Coppell Town Center to select a paper ornament from the tree.
2.
Purchase a gift (or gifts) of clothing and/or toy for the child. If you'd like to donate to a local senior, purchase a $50 Wal-Mart gift card.
3.
Return the wrapped gifts to the City Manager’s Office no later than 5 pm, Monday, December 6. Please write the family number and age of the child on a tag and attach it to the gifts. Gift cards for local seniors should also be returned to the City Manager's Office by December 6.
