Senior & Disabled Persons Water Rate Discount
Senior Citizens (age 65 and older) or disabled persons may apply for a 10% discount on the water bill for a residential account held in their name for which an over 65 homestead exemption or current lease is held in their name. Please email Utility Billing with a request along with a scanned copy of a current driver's license or other valid proof of age - no application needed! The discounts cannot be combined. The City does apply a seasonal rate structure at usage thresholds to encourage conservation.

Discounted Garbage Rates
Senior citizens (age 65 and older) are eligible for a discounted residential garbage rate, effective January 1, 2023, of $16.89 per month plus $1.39 sales tax and $0.10 public education fee.
