Allies Ambassador Volunteer Groups

Allies in Community continue working towards a more inclusive Coppell after their formal training period through Allies Ambassador Volunteer Groups. These groups focus on outreach and education of the Allies mission — building relationships through common ground, fostering a deep sense of belonging and enhancing residents’ active engagement in the community — within their designated areas. Please contact the listed group representatives for more information on how to get involved.

Allies Interfaith Group

The mission of the Allies Interfaith group is to bring members of different faith groups together to explore what we have in common and learn about and enjoy the ways in which we are different. We welcome members of all faith groups and hope to foster understanding and appreciation of the rich diversity in faiths to be found in Coppell.  We ultimately aspire to be a beacon of hope, service, understanding, and brotherhood to all Coppell residents.

Members have been meeting via Zoom about once a month during the pandemic. We look forward to the time when we can meet together in person again. We have hosted several prayer devotionals with input from many faiths and we will continue these as well as pursuing ways to be of service to Coppell and the surrounding communities.

Allies Sustainability/Environmental Group

The focus of the Allies Sustainability/Environmental group is the three Rs — Reduce, Reuse and Recycle with an emphasis on reducing the amount of plastic consumption within the community. We provide information on how to be more green and environmentally conscious through the proper disposal of grass clippings, holiday pumpkins, etc., and participate in a variety of activities and events including the city-wide leaf clean up in the fall and EarthFest in the spring.
